This has to be my book of the year so far. Why?
Because if you want to know how unscrupulously evil tabloid journalists, Big Pharmas and other dubious organisations manage to bamboozle the general public with misleading and inaccurate facts, figures and sensational headlines – then, buddy, this is the book for you.
I studied the Biological Sciences at University but they never covered the dark arts of cherry picking research data and how to skew results in your favour. But I had gotten out of practise with basic common science-sense and critical thinking. I feel like I am now mentally protected against all the rubbish you see and hear in the news, and will never take those headlines at face value again!
