I recently went to The South Island in New Zealand, and drank many, many fine beers (and wines) whilst I was down there. My favourite brand was Monteiths, a West Coast brewery that now produces a lovely range of beers to suit everyone’s tastes. My favourites were the Pilsner and the Golden. Sweet as.
I have this every Friday with my pub lunch, I’m so glad that I found it on tap! It’s a quality lager with a slightly bitter taste, very refreshing and goes well with a burger or Club sandwich. Good stuff from the US of A.
Damn fine beer, a cool clean taste (supposedly made from Glacial meltwater 18,000ft up in the Peruvian Andes).
